  • Spring planting season in Minnesota is a busy time of year...it can also be dangerous. Make sure you take time to make this spring farming season safe by following a few basic steps: eat a well balanced meal, get adequate rest, follow your owner's manuals for routing maintenance and prep-work, farmers should use flashers when driving on roads, motorists should slow down and be prepared to stop for large farming equipment, make sure all operators are properly trained to run the equipment. KMRS/KKOK hopes this year's spring fieldwork is a safe one for you and those around you.
  • Call Before You Dig! Building a deck? Planting a tree? Installing a mailbox? Make sure you call before you begin any digging project. Call Gopher State One Call at 800-252-1166 or simply call 811 and get your underground utility lines marked for free! This means calling before ANY digging job whether you're a home-owner or a contractor. Call before you dig, it's the law.
