Hancock Falls In Legion Ball, Morris Over Granite In Jr. Legion 13 Jul 18

Glenwood/Lowry 9, Hancock 3
HANCOCK – Glenwoo/Lowry’s five-run first inning was enough to hold off Hancock for  9-3 win on Thursday in legion baseball.
Jake Hoffman had a two-run double, Cade Fish was 2-4 with an RBI and Glenwood/Lowry got a complete game performance out of Isaiah Testa, who allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk, striking out four.
Gideon Joos and Peyton Rohloff each had an RBI for Hancock, with Rohloff taking the loss on the hill tossing six innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits, four walks, and three strikeouts. 

Morris 8, Granite Falls 3
MORRIS – Morris scored three runs in the fifth inning to break a 4-4 tie, and earned an 8-3 win over Granite Falls on Friday from Chizek Field.
Josh Rohloff led the offense going 3-3 with two RBI’s, Gage Thomoson, Bradley Rohloff, Jack Riley, and Zach Bruns each had two hits for Morris. Austin Berlinger went the distance allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits, five walks, with seven strikeouts for the win.
Morris is now 7-7 on the season.
