Glenwood/Lowry, Hancock Each Earn A Win At Runestone Days Over The Weekend 18 Jun 18

Glenwood/Lowry 16, B-E/WCA 6 (5 inn)
KENSINGTON – An eight-run second inning spurred Glenwood/Lowry to a 16-6 win over Brandon-Evansville/West Central Area in legion baseball from Kensington on Saturday.
Jake Hoffman led the onslaught by going 2-4 with four RBI’s and two runs for Glenwood, Connor Westberg was 3-5 with two RBI’s and two runs, Ryan Christenson and Ryan Amundson each added two RBI’s. Isiah Testa tossed five innings for the win, allowing six runs (four earned) on six hits with a walk and two strikeouts.
Post 188 used four pitchers in all, with Brandon Merritt taking the loss, giving up 11 runs (eight earned) on 10 hits over just 1.2 innings. Cody Fultz had two RBI’s. 

Hancock 10, B-E/WCA 9
KENSINGTON – The Hancock legion defeated Brandon-Evansville/West Central Area 10-9 from Kensington on Saturday.
Post 29 collected 13 hits as a team, with Daniel Miland and Gideon Joos each going 3-4, Peyton Rohloff was 2-4 and tossed four innings, allowing seven runs. Preston Rohloff got the win in relief, going three innings and giving up two runs on three hits and a walk, striking out four.
Post 188 had 10 hits total, Isaiah Sykora and Cody Fultz were each 2-4.
