Border West 6, Pelican Rapids 3
GLENWOOD – Sam Adelman tossed a complete game while going 3-3 at the plate to lead Border West past Pelican Rapids 6-3 from Marthaler Field.
Adelman allowed three runs on six hits and struck out 11 to improve his record to 7-0, he scored two runs. Bryce Hoffman, James Conroy, and Nate Moberg each had two hits with an RBI.
Jacob Gottenborg belted a two-run home run in the fifth that pulled the Vikings within a run before the Bucs added two insurance runs. Oakley Kress took the loss allowing five runs on seven hits over 4.1 innings. Kress walked eight, hit two batters and struck out four. 

Parkers Prairie 9, Border West 7
GLENWOOD – A seventh inning rally came up one big hit short as Border West’s season came to an end with a 9-7 loss to Parkers Prairie.
The Panther put together a four-run first on four hits to jump out to an early lead, building it up to a 9-2 lead entering the seventh when the Bucs scored five runs on three hits with three walks and two Panther errors, leaving the tying run on-base.
Matt Thielen gave up six runs (four earned) on eight hits over five innings, Nelson Schmidt took the loss with .2 of relief, allowing another three runs.
Austin Kipp’s two-run single pulled the Bucs within two in the seventh but their season ends with a 14-5 record.
Matt Ferley was 3-4 with three RBI’s, finishing a home run shy of the cycle for the Panthers who will face Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa on Thursday for the chance to meet New York Mills in the section championship.
