Owls Hand Out Hardware At Season End Awards Banquet 05 Apr 18

The Hancock Owls handed out team awards at their season end banquet on Wednesday.

The Most Valuable Player Award was given to senior guard Noah Kannegiesser. Kannegiesser averaged 36.1 points per game with 4.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.0 steals while shooting 58 percent. He also became the school’s all-time leading scorer, and posted a new single-game record with 51 points against KMS on February 23rd.

Offensive Player of the Year went to junior Bennett Nienhaus who averaged 14.1 points with 5.5 rebounds while shooting 46 percent. Defensive Player of the Year was Cole Reese, Most Improved was Connor Reese. 

The Hustle Award was given to senior Peyton Rohloff while Mason Schmidgall was awarded the Owl Award.
