Prep Results: Second Half Run Pushes Annandale Past Tigers 27 Dec 17

Annandale 57, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 50
PERHAM – Fourth-ranked Annandale used a big second half run to edge the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers 57-50 on Wednesday at the Perham Holiday Tournament.
The Tigers took their first lead of the game at 37-36 lead with 10 minutes left, but the Cardinals responded with a 13-2 run and would hold on for the win.
Jaret Johnson led the Tigers with 16 points with nine rebounds, Camden Arndt added 12 points with nine boards, and Connor Koebernick earned player of the game with 11 points and two steals.
Trent Peper scored 16 for the Cardinals, Trenton Peterson added 13 as they improve to 5-1, they’ll face Perham in the tournament championship on Thursday.
The Tigers are 2-5 and face Anoka for third place on Thursday at 2:00.
