Dump Truck Collision Leaves Two Injured 30 Nov 17

Three people were hurt yesterday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash south of Belgrade.

31-year-old Paul Gregory Sykora of Carrington, North Dakota was driving a 1992 Mack dump truck north on Highway 71, while 80-year-old Rosalyn Imelda Carter of Sauk Centre was moving south. Carter attempted a left turn at the intersection with Highway 9, but failed to yield to the dump truck.

Sykora’s dump truck rolled, but he was treated and released on-scene. Carter was airlifted to Saint Cloud Hospital, but the State Patrol characterizes her injuries as non-life-threatening. 24-year-old Carolyn Teresa Botz of Sauk Centre was a passenger in Carter’s vehicle, she was brought to Rice Memorial Hospital of Willmar with minor wounds.
