Prep Results: Tigers Fall To Lakers At Tennis Quarterfinals In Sartell 09 Oct 17

Benson Invitational
BENSON – The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta girls and boys cross country teams competed at the Benson Invite on Monday with the the girls Meredith Carrington finishing in third place to lead all Tiger runners.
The Tiger girls took third as a team, and placed three in the top 20 including Caryn Marty in 14th place, and Malory Anderson in 17th.
Border West’s Emma Schmidt placed 11th. Lac qui Parle Valley took first place in team results with Sauk Centre in second. Jordyn Sterud of LQPV took top honors individually.

The Tiger boys placed fourth and were led by Tate Nelson who finished seventh, Ben Hernandez took 12th. Lac qui Parle Valley’s Keiser Freetly took first and the Eagles won the event as a team.
Michael Haukos was the top Border West runner in 34th place.

ASHBY – Anna Rinke recorded a double-double to lead WHN past Ashby 25-12, 25-12, 25-13. Rinkie had 13 digs and 10 kills, Eryn Smith added 22 digs.

Dawson-Boyd 3, Hancock 0
Dawson-Boyd swept Hancock 25-22, 25-23, 25-20. Emma Nelson had 10 digs and three kills.
