MORRIS – The first annual Prairie Open Tennis Tournament was held on Saturday under ideal conditions at the Morris Area High School tennis courts.

After a day full of competition, Charlie Glasrud and Britney House won the doubles tournament, while Peter Bremer took the singles.

Other participants included Jon Campbell, Andrew Kaczrowski, Mark Anderson, Trevor Webb, Carter Jones, Emily Johnson, Sam Peters, Eric Buchanan, Dave Smith, and Mckenzie Dice.

Britney and Peter held the tournament so people in the community could get together for some friendly competition and network with other players. Everyone was able to enjoy themselves and exchange contact information. They do plan on organizing it again next year.
