Morris business owner passes after accident 05 Jul 17

The Morris business owner who lost his eye in a motorcycle accident last month has passed away.

On Thursday, June 8, Nick Wolff was driving a Harley Davidson near Barrett when he went off the road at 10:45 a.m. According to Wolff’s Caring Bridge site, witnesses reported that the bike must have hit a rock, which threw him off and caused him to strike a post.

Wolff was airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital. He incurred a frontal sinus fracture, a large laceration across his forehead, his left eye socket and all the bones around the eye broke, broken cheek bone, eye globe blown, small brain bleeds, broken clavicle, broken scapula, sternum fractures, three fractured ribs, T5 fracture, and a broken left leg.

Wolff’s daughter, Nicole Arbach, posted on his Caring Bridge site that he passed away at 11 a.m. on June 29th surrounded by his children. She added that they will be hosting a celebration of life party sometime this summer.

Wolff was the owner of an insurance agency in Morris.
