Hancock 8, Morris 3
MORRIS – Zach Flaten’s RBI single in the fifth inning broke a tie and Hancock went on to defeat Morris 8-3 in legion baseball on Monday from Chizek Field.

Morris took a 3-1 lead in the second inning on back-to-back run producing hits from Jared Rohloff and Parker Dierks, but after a scoreless third, Hancock would score seven runs over the next three frames.

Chandler Gramm earned the win pitching a complete game, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits with two walks, and four strikeouts. Gramm and Tanner Pahl each went 3-4 with two runs scored for Hancock who had five players with multi-hit games, and 15 as a team.

Andrew Shaw and Zach Copa each drove in a pair of runs, and Hancock improved to 4-5.

The Two-Niners used four pitchers during the game, with Chandler Vogel taking the loss, Dierks finished 2-3 with two RBI’s and they fall to 4-13.

Glenwood/Lowry 9, Hancock 2
GLENWOOD – Hancock couldn’t hold an early lead in a 9-2 loss to Glenwood/Lowry in legion baseball on Wednesday from Marthaler Field in Glenwood.

Tanner Pahl laced a two-run single in the first inning to stake Post 29 to a 2-0 lead, but it was all Glenwood from there on out, answering with a run in the bottom of the inning, then putting together four-run fourth and sixth innings.

Peyton Rohloff took the loss allowing five runs on four hits over the first five innings. Pahl would throw the final two frames, allowing four runs on five hits. Zach Copa was 3-3 at the plate with a run scored for Hancock who fall to 4-6.
