- Kacey Musgraves was born August 21st, 1988 in Mineola, TX


- Musgraves self-released 3 albums before appearing on the 5th season of Nashville Star where believe it or not she placed 7th.


- Musgraves starting making headway when she joined Lady Antebellum for their “We Own The Night” tour in 2012.


- Musgraves was signed to Mercury Records in 2012 then preceded to release of a song that went to #14 on the country charts with “Merry Go ‘Round.”


- Musgraves latest hit “Blowin’ Smoke” has already climbed to #33 and continues to climb quickly up the charts.




- Kacey Musgraves’ 3 self-released albums include 2002s “Movin’ On,” 2003s “Wanted: One Good Cowboy,” 2007s self- titled “Kacey Musgraves,” and her big break came with 2013s “Same Trailer, Different Park,” which has reached #1 on the country charts.


- Among other songs she has songwriting credits for include Gretchen Wilson’s “Get Outa My Yard,” and Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart.”


- She also has a songwriting credit for the song “Undermine” which was sung by Hayden Panettiere on the ABC’s hit show Nashville.


- Although very early in her career Musgraves has multiple 2013 awards nominations including:
