Rock Thrower Arrested in Morris 14 Nov 12

A twenty-year old Morris man is in custody after police made an arrest on Saturday afternoon. Kwame Strong is accused of throwing bricks and rocks at passing cars in Morris, hitting several cars and breaking or cracking windows. Strong has been charged with three 1st degree felonies for causing property to damage. Two of the charges address a foreseeable risk of bodily harm.

Morris Chief of Police Jim Beauregard says that though several victims reported the incidents, he believes there may be more who have suffered damage. If your car was hit recently by a thrown object, you are encouraged to contact the Morris Police Department at (320) 208-6500.
