Here’s a look at what’s happening during National 4H Week

Stevens County 4-H Awards Program
When: Saturday, October 8, 2011, at 7 p.m.
Where: WCROC in Morris

Many 4-Hers, families and volunteers will be recognized from Project Bowl members to Outstanding Record participants to Record Winners and everything in between! Please come and support your fellow 4-H families!

Fall 4-H Volunteer Training: We are Connected
When: Wednesday, October 5, 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Where: Hancock School
Who: Calling all 4-H Youth & Adult Volunteers in CLUBS – COUNTY COMMITTEES – PROJECT AREAS! Each club must have 2 participants at this training.
What: Join us for an EXCITING opportunity to explore new tools to assist your club, committees and county 4-H program in program planning for the year!
How: Call the Extension Office at 208-6575 or email by October 3 to register.

Stevens County 4-H Leaders Council Meeting
When: Wednesday, October 5, 7:45 p.m.
Where: Hancock School
Agenda: Fair Thoughts, Election of Officers, Constitutional Amendments, 2011-12 Budget

The following changes have been proposed to the 4-H Leaders Council Constitution:

Article IV, Section 2: Change from four (4) fair board representatives on a rotational term of 2 years (two youth and two adults) to 2 fairboard representatives (1 youth, 1 adult) on a 1 year term. And insert Recreation Leader.

Article V, Section 5: Change from 2 adult and 2 youth to 1 adult and 1 youth.

Article V, Section 7: Add: Recreation Leader: There will be 1 recreation leader to share a recreational activity at the beginning of each Leaders Council Meeting.
